Dashing dazing: see my face scream with wonder.
Shiny meadows gleam white, bleached in the scorch of the sun.
Tiny buzzers click through the grass as I walk.
Dash a haze behind my sight.
The air is cooling to take on the night.
The night air creeps in through the grasses around my feet.
Warm day air swirls in my face. I laugh out loud.
The sky is purple, white green and blue. Dusk.
I know what’s right. All I can do is crouch
In the shadows, and wait for them to find me.
These are the blessings that come at night.
34 A Dragon’s Cauldron
A dragon’s tear
A drop
In the cauldron of love.
It took me so long to understand you.
I close my eyes
And for a moment see
A carriage with a lantern
Approaching around the wooded bend.
For a moment we touch
Sigh into my mouth and I sing
the pulse deep into my heart
Our pulses ring
Press our palms together
Embraced in stillness
Hold fast and still, a last time
And fall back, slipping away through
The passages of the night
And again, here I am.
And you, only a memory.

Grape, Blonde, Blue
Jealousy joy, I love You.
55
Thinking of you
Again. Like a dream
Thoughts of your heart
Pass through my shadow.
57
A patch of rain falls.
It’s yours.
Catch me deep when you sleep.
Take the rain that fell on your heart
and head, and take me in, dear.
I am drawn in by your tide
governed by the moon.
a hazy storm shines above the ocean
I shine down like rain
Take me in the ocean
drown in me your rain.
116 Kissing Wrists
like a teenager practicing
he kissed his wrist, where it felt best
to entice a taste of what
a real kiss would feel like.
Yours a Smile
Yours was a smile of so many.
I sang hard to you that night
I saw your open eyes fading
like pale moon disks
quivering on the cold, still water.
Submerge your sight
into the dark bottom of the lake
At Night, when the black is black
And the blood is numb.
A silver suspire clung to a weed, I linger
in a shapeless world thick as space.
I feel no star to govern me.
A breath of longing,
To drift afloat my lurking eros.
To touch the surface and pop it.
A swoosh of a darter releases me.
Drifting in a single direction,
Driven out of the moment, for the first time
I see a flicker, the lantern of your eyes,
from the still of murky desire.
Parallel beams guide my way to the surface
Where I at last will sit in ornament of the moonlight
Stretching tension at the water’s surface.
A blue light flickers along my edge I giggle and pop.
A burst of laughter gone fatal.
112
green-green are the eyes of my lover
green-green are her cloths and her shoes
green is the colour of the stamp on the letter
and the song of the night did shine right through
green-green is the kiss of my lover
green wishes did come true.
green-green are the eyes of the phantom
and the song in the night did see us through.
green-green are the wishes of my phantom
sea-green eyes can see right through.
leave-leave says the whisper in the shadows
silvery eyes can see right through.
silvery eyes can see right through.
