1.

Yellow Chiffon

Yellow chiffon,

isn’t that a pie?

Sensual deviant,

deep as cabernet

I never knew

that you could fly.

Just between you and I

spotting kindness, I must comply.

Solar system abide

two hearts collide

and Out of blackness

a star, it shines.

life on earth

a star is adored

feminine girth

a diamond is forged.

an earthen mirth

of invaluable worth,

love on earth

is a spiritual rebirth.

2.

Lost

I wish I could write a song for you.

Just a line, one or two.

I think about our history, and things of past,

and I never realized that our time wouldn't last

as long as eternity.

that moment of just you and me

that moment is lost,

dead like frost

on my windshield

a writer's guild

I think of you as the ice transforms

to a vision of you, so adorned.

I'm ashamed for taking you for granted,

a seed in me you are planted.

3.

Mourning the Dove

mourning dove,

why is it that lost anxiety finds us so well?

a song is but a trigger finger through the darkness of lost synapses in the brain.

lost electrical flickers of cognitive pains mend their way through my mind like veins.

Inert wisdom fills black holes like water.

leaking.

4.

Vision Clouded

Keep the wisdom flowing like goulash

standard.

Out my brain, and into the slave.

12 degrees south.  my rainbow cries in the morning.

12 degrees east.  my rainbow calls out

In the west my heart begins to wander

lost, looking for the pot of gold.

In the wrong place.

Weakness is standard.

Vision.  Clouded.

5.

Rustling Grass

Rustling grass

swim near

Bent reeds

bow to me

I receive their tide.

6.

Moonfall

The moon falls

out of my crotch

once a month or so.

It falls hard like a rock

polished, formed into a new me.

a new me, like from a long time ago.

A new child looks at me

pale moon face,

a new soul.  It’s not me.

7.

Loneliness

Sadness dripping, squinting

in the sunlight.

Reflections of my thoughts glimmer

through the frosty pines this morning.

I lean back in my chair,

gaze out the window, admire sparkling snow

and all I can think about

is you.  a fairy whisper.

My ear it tickles

Delightful, squeamish, laughter, uncomfortable.

I’m waiting for the night to come

white wash aluminum pale-light

moon light turns grasses into seas.

Slipping passed, a new addendum

pale-light dreams turn into screams.

Red-wash sorrow

you hear me holler

like pig’s and children’s screams.

8.

Tapping Heat

Nothing to fight

nothing to hold

on to

life is dust

and I am reduced

to memories-mere

electrical passing

    sparking

      tapping heat

         in gray fleshy orbs.

Little brains

twirling around the universe.

Killing the peace, and sadness

simply by remembering.

9.

Sapphire Glow

A black liquid sways in my cup.

my dear, hold reverence, I pity thee.

see my sapphire glow

my elements slip past your lips,

passed your wisdom

overflow      indulge

A black cabernet sways in my cup

the vibration of the earth

of the wind

Tears of laughter, I smile

just watching, smiling.

You look so beautiful in the

yellow light.  I bask aglow.

Drink this vintage,

curb your insanity

wings that cover me

fire that sings to me,

trodden by life

to keep on healing.

Sing to me justice, a rhythm,

a choral reef around

my neck

              submerged.

caustic whisper, my lips are sealed.

You, a brilliant light shimmering

across the sky.

I lay on the grass,

and wonder,

whisper your name

 through a smile

de Kooning cat laughs once,

right before you fall asleep.

10.

Elegant Wine

The stars float downstream

in the shadows I crouch and lean.

I watch them flicker on by.

Still in the night, I lie waiting

These orbs before me not for the taking

a stellar dream, your face is seen and I cry.

Still I wait by

My heart I deny

to touch this image of you.

Yet in mine mind

Our hearts entwined.

This torment cannot continue.

elegant wine

so sublime

kiss the vintage out from my neck.

Still embrace

I love your taste

it’s passion and it’s torment.

11.

Curly Willows Haiku

Curly willows milk

the saps of earth below them.

and sing like moon light

12.

Fake

Shatters these dreams in my face

How quickly my name is disgraced

Shatter the dreams of my past

where I see love that...

13.

The Smell of Summer

Sing for a moment

in a black car

in black style

Roll down the windows

and Roll—

Vapors of heat

shimmer in my mind

I float downstream like water fowl

lingering, and greeting...

Living in a poem

my champaign heart

consumed from a black bottle.

The Smell of Summer

Thick in the air

waving love around like a phantom.

California bliss

radiates from the black top.

Top-hat-and-cane

a black car and a smile

that just can’t stop growing.

Summer Love heat

rises, freshly baked pines

dry, I stub my toe

on a little speed bump;

and laugh.

13.

Empty Insects

Lay insect figures in my head.

            Paper-crisp thoughts

Making Love in a frozen temple

Now the decade circles around us

Millions shall dance to your creepy eyes

As the decade passes it answers our questions.

You must believe in something

Every place I go to wander

I find myself with a paper doll to feed.

14.

a soft yellow sun with a white rim

guided by voices, emerges over the dark trees.

Don’t worry little one.  I am here.

     My destination.

          Oblivion

               Seduction.

15.

Killing Time is Over

Killing time is over

Eternal bliss cannot dismiss this satisfaction,

And all I can think about…this satisfaction, this

Tingling satisfaction.

Radical Bliss

Captured by a dream,

To forever float in the River from your throat.

A wicked cherub

Stings my past

And gives me something

Which I’ve never had.

A strength endurance

Embrace the wind,

He’s still as a child

Scared in bed.

He lets me play

My party fancies,

And do my dance of intrigue.

Killing time is over.

Dear God what have you done.

The killing time is over.

Champaign bliss will overcome.

I lie here dormant for hours.

My pulse slows to a gradual hum.

I remember the pulse of which was yours

On the still dreary morning.

Your pulse ran thick and fast

And all I can say is thank you , for holding me.

16.

Witch come runnin’ down the hill.

A fast steed…

The witch come rolling over.

Playing time has begun.

17.

Bursting Delight

from a shapeless world of darkness thick as space,

within the stillness of murky desire I cling to a weed.

a silvery suspire a lurking Eros, a sluice of longing.

to touch the surface and pop it.

The stillness, the pressure

of the numbing darkness surrounds me.

A swoosh of a darter releases me.

Drifting in a single direction,

Driven out of the moment, for the first time

I see a flicker.

Parallel beams guide my way to the surface

where I at last will sit in ornament of the moonlight

stretching tension at the water’s surface.

A blue light flickers along my edge.  I giggle and pop.

a burst of laughter gone fatal.

 18.

Interstellar Sigh

The stars were flung onto,

the black sky just for you.

And as you sigh

a star will die.

But don't despair,

The pain will still be there.

death surge bless a star tonight

a single star can die a sigh tonight.

See the stars fly like fliers.

See the fliers fly like stars.

See the moon fold into the hue.

The stars were made just for you.

and as you sigh a star will die.

within your sigh do not deny

the pain.  it will always be there.

and as you die,

Your lingering sigh falls into crystals crying.

I'll kiss each cry, The falling diamonds I

melt it down, and hot it with life.

So don't despair, I'll always be there.

19.

A Dragon's Tear

I turned around,

to see the Last time,

Scales covered in blood.

and I turned around

for the last time

and watched it wash away.  A red tear befallen.

I viciously attempt, I deny mine eyes. my heart somber, gone black.

Turn around in sequence, deny mine eyes, haunted by the sequence

my heart though small, lay drying in the sun in a meadow, accompanied by flies.

Glossy black ants fill the inside devouring like an apple.

A tear of red vaporizes a trail like a comet, an interstellar dream, frozen in time.

collapsing in circles, ice crystals form orbit, driven by the sequence of dreams and the

pain of existence.

Stop dark in the night

She folds her clear lid across her eye

a black lash befallen.

She gave her last breath

to true love's kiss

The black night befallen.

20.

A Freak’s Dream

a freak's dream...

dark rain post a material thick and black
dark rain dwell in walls thick dungeonesque
Feel alive, scream out the hallow
up through cold ground, my tears I fallow.

Hunt a bisque night, a vapor to fallow
In a cold night, a dream pill to swallow.
A freak steal fast, a whole lifetime's past,
a freaks dream dead in the hours that passed

A freaks dream thrives in the nights that fallow
you a dream, and a night pill to swallow.

21.

Deadly Grape

Lying Back-down in a grape of darkness.

I feel the sounds compress

My face settles like a creek bed.

I wince in the pain of the undead.

23.

Passion Time

Passion time – drink some wine – forget the rigors of the day.

Pass your time – know what’s mine – circum to the child at play.

Eleven times – I’ve seen you shine – like owls scorched by day.

Passion thieves – 9 whistling pine – back and forth will sway.

24.

Suffocation

I once had a heart

and it was the wind that held it-

held it tight and blue

a Kiss of a Midnight Hue

reMains a Stain on You

25.

Hanging Jars of Fireflies

She smells her way through the fog like a deer, puffing and snorting, with a wet nose glittering.  She systematically suspends them like cheriblum.

Xylem and Phloem, a tree’s pulse and rhythm.  The moss girl sparks her way through the system.

Cerebral reflex buzz like insects.  Jars full of charm chant the night’s contents.

26.

A Kiss behind the Doll Face

hide behind a doll face without a smile,

and smile like it’s all you got.

hide behind the placid illusion

of a porcelain china-doll face

and play with all you got.

you smile, we think you’re not.

27.

The flower

but flew away

Pink petals

floating in the wind

it caught a ditch

and there, she wept.

28.

Poplar Images Sway like Skeletons

do you remember

that time I dressed

in the dark of the night

and we went into the forest?

do you remember what I said-

do you remember

the good place to die?

remember now,

the poplars hissing

draw upon a sweet breath kissing.

i took you all in.

hissing in

the poplars sway

the skele-tons sing

skele-songs ‘till day.

29.

Cream Dreams

Cream dreams rise like fire.

Kisses in a sweet dream cold, they burn me

The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa is but cold, white marble to me.

In a religious dream I scream high

My earthen heart soars beyond comprehension.

Kisses in a sweet dream.  Soar higher, above the clouds,

Where the air is so cold that it cracks your skin.

Our spirits fly as we kiss sweet dreams into each other’s minds.

These dreams shall fallow me forever, and will be

My sense of eternity.  I’ve stained the body of eternity with

My love for you.

Kiss my dreams on the shadows of Rocks.  Kiss me in places beyond our vision.

Kiss my neck until it swells and is dry.

Feel my moon tonight.  Fulfill my anguish tonight.

30.

Tea Time

time for two

time to tea

time for three

time to breath

breathe the tea

It’s time to see.

31.

Grapes Scurry

The grapes scurry about

the vineyard while the

Jays sleep.

32.

Dogs of Fire

Smoke rising like mist.  Drizzle on my windshield.

My voice is the voice that can’t be heard.

Sing with me the song of sorrows,

Sing with me of the good in the night.

Dogs of fire, come close to me.  Beseech me.

Bedazzle me with intimacy.

Dogs of fire turn to gold and bite me,

light my way, and entice me.

Dogs of fire.  Dog the day,

throw your embers at me.

Elucidate fiction at my dismay

Entice your addictions for me to play.

Days of dog.  Dogs of fire.

Begin in me the phantom desire.

Days of dog, rise like fire

rise from ash a renegade respire!

33.

Rain.

Victims dance.

A prelude to chance.

Fallow me down like rain.

Lick me shallow.

Lick me hollow

Lick onto me the rain.

Fallow me down

Onto the ground

Kiss on the earth like rain

Lift you high

Know you’re mine

Love in dark disdain.

34.

The Jazz Singer

The Jazz swings slow

Rhythms while

Scattered heads

Swing with the beat.

The hips of the

Singer swing

With her head

Bobbing and

Black hair that

Swirls to her feet.

Her velvet skin

Flashes the

Waltz that leads

Scattered heads

Dancing,

Enjoying the treat.

35.

Sweet Shadow

Thinking of you

Again.  Like a dream

Thoughts of your heart

Pass through my shadow.

36.

Scurry Vipers

scurry vapors

hungry vipers

slither curly shadows

fiddle crumble showers

peer into the nighttime’s past

nighttime slipping fast

a life is shown

a lifetime’s past

courage is might

fright off sight

I’m already gone.

37.

Cream colored summer

Dashing dazing: see my face scream with wonder.

Shiny meadows gleam white, bleached in the scorch of the sun.

Tiny buzzers click through the grass as I walk.

Dash a haze behind my sight.

The air is cooling to take on the night.

The night air creeps in through the grasses around my feet.

Warm day air swirls in my face.  I laugh out loud.

The sky is purple, white green and blue.  Dusk.

I know what’s right.  All I can do is crouch

In the shadows, and wait for them to find me.

These are the blessings that come at night.

39.

The Plight of an Artist

Still

of Life.

Char

of Coal.

Aesthetics

Unfold

the tales

untold.

40.

 A Dragon’s Cauldron

A dragon’s tear

A drop

In the cauldron of love.

It took me so long to understand you.

I close my eyes

And for a moment see

A carriage with a lantern

Approaching around the wooded bend.

For a moment we touch

Sigh into my mouth and I sing

the pulse deep into my heart

Our pulses ring

Press our palms together

Embraced in stillness

Hold fast and still, a last time

And fall back, slipping away through

The passages of the night

And again, here I am.

And you, only a memory.

41.

Teenage Ignorance

What used to be

reasonable                                now the murmuring echo of

                                   adolescent thinking is

                                                                                                     adult kayos-

                                                                                             human ignorance.

42.

The Emperor’s Dream

The vampire sleeps tonight.

The moon is out with no light.

     “A tribute to they”

Then passes away.

The vampire sleeps tonight.

The vampire stirs tonight

And submerges into sight.

     He smells the air,

And blinks in his stare

Then settles his head out of fright.

The vampire watches tonight

Silently out of sight-

     All those who pass by

Beneath the night sky

He snickers, knowing it’s night.

The vampire walks tonight.

The moon is out in full light.

     “A tribute to thee“

Says silently he-

Then séances off in the night.

The vampire stalks tonight

Completely out of sight.

     A dash of blood

And there is no cry.

The vampire feasts tonight

The vampire sings tonight

Shimmering in the moonlight.

     Fear not says he

For I have a key

And he passes inside with might.

Hiding in shadows of trees,

Perching on quivering leaves.

     He enters inside

And does not hide,

Deep in your house tonight.

43.

Haze of Saturn

A spot of gold, and a smile to feed with.

A rebel’s face of gold.

A spot of haze on the sun.

A shadow licks me no more.

I feel his breath again on my cheek,

I rest in the feeling of more.

44.

In the Darkness I’m yearning

A shiny gold will

and a hunger still

Be still the twilights of evening.

A tiny gold will

My love for you still

Grows deep in the darkness of bleeding.

45.

Wish the Fish

Wish the fish

To wash the dish

And fill the plate with tea.

Wish the crow

Beneath the snow

The cradle rocked with thee.

Wished the sea

Eternal plea

Tomorrow your night is sorrow.

Wish with me

A drunken plea

To wash the marrow of morrow.
